yogini
Yogini Valarie's unique gift is her ability to share yoga from her heart.
This is her service to others.
In 1970, Valarie Wright began her yoga journey under her first guru, Sri Swami Sivananda (through his teachings and teachers). Since then, she has traveled the world, exploring the many and wonderous spiritual traditions - from Christianity and Hindusim, to Jewish Mysticism and Buddhism, to Siberian and Saami Shamanism - all while sitting at the knee of the many monks, swami's, yogis, shamans and spiritually led souls she encountered along the way.
Yogini Valarie realized long ago that her purpose in life is to see past the outer appearances and the five senses to an intuitive perception of the causes behind outer conditions. Her unique approach has been to assist others on their life journey through the understanding and application of Yoga's diverse physical, mental, emotional and spiritual traditions.
It is a joyfilled and satisfying experience for both teacher and student, healer and client.
Yogini Valarie only began teaching Yoga after ten years of intense and comprehensive study with several Yoga and spiritual masters. Being an ordained Yogini, she is fully engaged in the world and dedicated to the betterment of others. So that every Yoga class is a wellspring of healing and thriving potential to become greater than we are!
Yoga is a shift into a knowing of the body and mind, and that is the Heart of Yoga.

~Hamsa Flow~
Hatha Yoga is an ancient practice of physical and spiritual
development.
It is a systematic method of personal study and personal practice.
Hatha Yoga, in its most traditional form, is vinyasa krama, or “breath-movement-sequence methodology”.
By integrating the functions of body, mind and breath - all at once - the Yoga student will experience the true joy of Yoga.
Garland of Breath!
Each of Hatha Yoga's important poses is practiced with many variations - based on your personal level - and each variation is threaded to the next
by a succession of specific transitional movements,
synchronized with the breath.
The mind will closely follow the deep, slow and deliberate Yoga breath, so that true Yoga is the connecting of mind and body - the ‘cart’ to the ‘horse’ - with the breath as the ‘harness’.
